OMDWomenLeadOK-40Kendra Horn is the Executive Director of Women Lead. The idea for this organization came to her when she came back to Oklahoma to work on a major campaign – she saw so many women making a difference but so many women felt isolated and disempowered. Kendra put it this way: “The truth is so many people want to see a change but they don’t believe they can be a catalyst for it. I want to show them that not only they can but that they already are. Women are so much more powerful than they think.”

OMDWomenLeadOK-23Anna Facci is the Programs Manager for Women Lead but only because the position of Wonder Woman was already filled. A strong advocate for intersectional feminism, Anna realized Oklahoma would be her home forever in 2010 when she heard Lauren Zuniga’s poem “To the Oklahoma Progressives Plotting Mass Exodus” for the first time. Since then, she’s listened to that poem at least once a week and spends a lot of her time dreaming up ways to build bridges between communities of women. Anna earned her master’s degree in sociology from Oklahoma State University.
